Bala comes out with a beautiful Love Ballad – Pyaar Toh Tha

Some love stories last a lifetime, others fade away like a receding hairline. But one hopes and one believes that things will go back to the way they used to be. That emotion is at the heart of the latest Bala track, Pyaar Toh Tha.

Composed by Sachin Jigar with lyrics penned by Priya Saraiya, it features the voices of Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur and is picturized on lead pair Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam.

Encompassing a sea of emotions, Pyaar Toh Tha sees Ayushmann and Yami in a stark departure from the mood we’ve seen them in so far. The comedy gives way to an intense romance, some cute moments and healthy dollops of drama. Jubin and Asees bring the fire to the raging intensity one sees on screen and one cannot help but feel overwhelmed with all the emotions at play. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, the story of the film is all about a man in deep distress over his baldness.

The song is now available on Sony Music India’s YouTube channel and across all streaming platforms.

References for Ayushmann Khurrana’s Look In Bala Were Covertly Picked Up From Real People

The refreshing trailer of the upcoming comic caper – Bala, featuring the powerhouse of talent Ayushmann Khurrana has already got the movie buffs excited and Ayushmann’s realistic look has definitely become the talk of the town. Slated to release on November 7, the film also stars Bhumi Pednekar & Yami Gautam in the pivotal roles.

And the man responsible for the look is none other than the film’s director – Amar Kaushik and his extraordinary skill to cautiously click pictures of random people from the road.  So, hear this bit – As Bala, presented by Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, deals with the topic of premature balding in men and Ayushmann’s character is seen going through various stages of balding in the film, Amar wanted to ensure that at no point does his look come across as fake. And for this, the dedicated director would actually hit the streets and covertly click pictures of people from behind and then share it with the hair stylist of the film.

Commenting about it, Amar said, “When a person unfortunately starts losing hair, there is a certain pattern to it. I didn’t want Ayushmann’s character to be gimmicky; the film had to be as authentic as possible. And I wanted to ensure that we don’t goof up the look. So every time I saw someone on the road with this condition, I would sneakily try and click their pictures from behind and share it with the stylist and saying this is how I want the look to be.” Impressive, isn’t it?
